Deliveries of wood pellets to the EU countries increased by 7% in 2015

The largest exporters of pellets in the countries of the European Union are the manufacturers from the United States and Canada. More than 50% of imported pellets are shipped from the United States of America to the United Kingdom.

Due to the slight decline in demand for wood pellets and increased number of proposals, the cost of industrial wood pellets this year slightly decreased.

On bio market of consumer pellets prices remain the same. Currently in Germany the situation with the cutting and woodworking normalized, and the quality of the raw material for the production of wood pellets for retail sales improved.

At the moment, the value of the index of companies Foex market for biofuel pellets European Union countries rose to a one euro since September and now stands at 205.46 euros per tonne of solid biofuels.
